BugSplat Announces Updated Windows Crash Reporting Library with Hang Detection.


Henniker, NH April 13, 2008 - BugSplat announced today the availability of its latest native Windows crash reporting library with the following new features:

  1. Hang Detection. BugSplat detects when your application becomes unresponsive and sends an error report.
  2. Hijack Prevention. BugSplat prevents other threads, processes or systems from intercepting its crash reporting systems.
  3. Simplified UI. The crash report dialog is now simpler and more concise.
  4. Improved Unicode support.


Since the commercial release of BugSplats online crash analysis service, BugSplat has processed over 1.1 million defect reports.
